PianoFête brings four internationally acclaimed, award-winning pianists to Vashon Island for a week-long summer residency. Over four nights, four concerts are presented, each with a unique program performed by two or more of the resident pianists. With two concert Steinway grands on the stage in VCA’s Katherine L. White Hall, every seat has a “Keyboard View” while the musicians play solos, duos, and piano four-hands!

Since its first year in 2022, PianoFête has been curated by award-winning pianist, transcriber, and composer Vyacheslav Gryaznov—affectionately known by Vashon locals as “Slava.” Slava’s illustrious career has garnered him a diverse collection of collaborators and concert piano colleagues from across the country and worldwide. Each summer, Slava invites three colleagues to join him on Vashon Island to celebrate their shared passion and individual contributions to piano music.

PianoFête 2025 features the outstanding talents of:
Vyacheslav “Slava” Gryaznov
Daria Kiseleva
Rexa Han
Konstantin Soukhovetski

Land Acknowledgment
Vashon Island is the traditional homeland of the sx̌ʷəbabš (pronounced Schwa-ah-babsh) people, a once thriving Native community decimated by colonization. VCA is committed to stewarding this land, fostering creativity, and honoring indigenous culture through the arts.

Diversity and Inclusion
We celebrate diversity in all aspects of the work we do and support an environment of inclusion, racial equity, and social justice in our programming and operations. We welcome all individuals to our campus and steward them with respect and dignity. We hold our patrons and all affiliates to the same standard: our home is a center for all, regardless of race, place of origin, sex, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or class.
